The Musculoskeletal
Imaging Section has four faculty members. We train two musculoskeletal
imaging fellows per year.
Currently we interpret approximately 300 radiographic studies, 20 MRI
studies, 15 CT studies, and 15 DXA studies per day, including the Imaging Center. We perform two
musculoskeletal ultrasound studies and, generally, one or two MR arthrograms or CT arthrograms
per day. We also perform bone and soft tissue biopsies and are in
process of starting radiofrequency tumor ablation in conjunction with
the Interventional Radiology Section.
