The
section of Neuroradiology offers state of the art MR and
CT imaging. In addition to the latest MRI techniques, such
as MRA, MR perfusion, diffusion and diffusion tensor imaging,
MR spectroscopy and functional MRI using 1.5 and 3.0 T magnets;
advanced 3-D CT, CTA and CT perfusion studies are performed
with 32 and 64 detector row CT scanners.
Catheter angiographies and multiple spinal procedures are performed
by experts in the field. These include myelograms, vertebroplasties,
kyphoplasties, discographies and CT and/or fluoroscopically-guided
spinal biopsies. The section offers a 1 year ACGME-approved fellowship
in neuroradiology.
