magnetic resonance imaging

Research in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) encompasses a broad range of topics including technology and applications development, as well as directed projects in cancer, cardiac, neurovascular, functional magnetic resonance imaging, clinical, and small animal preclinical imaging. MRI research is ongoing as a central focus area
in the laboratories of several Radiology faculty members with numerous research opportunities for residents, graduate students, medical students, and undergraduates. Excellent resources exist for both whole-body human imaging and for small animal imaging.
